Forever summer

Forever summer

A Poem by Gee
"

13/08/21...Our dear friend Deb passed, the most bright and beautiful lady...forever summer in our hearts.

"
She left whilst pastel colours reigned
before autumn made it's bow,
to rest in peace beyond this world
in the heavens an angel now.
And with her went the summer sun
blue skies turned grey as lead,
a silence came upon the birds
each flower bowed its head,
a gentle breeze it stirred the air
and sorrowfully said
"still every hand on every clock
for she's gone, she's gone, she's dead..."

Again thank you :))
'.. with her went the summer sun

each flower bowed its head,
a gentle breeze then stirred the air
and in sorrowed tones soft said,
"still.. .. .. '

Beautiful words, dear sir and ladies - emotions and sincerity as always, present.

May I add a thought, please.. .. ' .. her reflection - everywhere.'

Another poignant poem of loss and grief, Gee. If she remains 'Forever Summer' in your heart and mind that will always overcome the winters of her loss. Have a Happy New Year, my friend. Search for the sun's rays (even though that is almost impossible in a European Winter!).⚘

Thank you Jamila. No sun but the weather unseasonably warm :))
I'm sorry for your loss. Our world grows a bit darker when a shining star goes out. I wish you blessings of comfort and hope in your moments of grief. Your poem was lovely and heartfelt.

Thank you Lathen
There is nothing better than leaving this earth if you're in pain; it's an exit worth noting; and autumn is a fine time of the year, before the winter dull' Nice imagery, and a peaceful ending.
Best, B.
