Mouthed words unheard but known,
palms pressed but not felt,
tears falling but not caught,
kisses blown but in vain.
A love that could move mountains
now slowly breaking hearts...
Will death be their reunion.
Hi Gee,
Love, love, love this short poem of yours..not sure if it would be considered a poem or???
Anyway, whatever it is as I said I love it..
Basically the way I read it is
that many of us do not see what is right in front of us..My favourite line is "A love that could move mountains"

This poem was written during Vivid and is referring to visits that folk were making to their elderly friends, relatives where no contact could be made and meetings conducted either side of windows, doors etc.
Thank you for your take:))
Hope all is well with you both.
Anything new for me to read ?

Thank you for clearing that up..
Lisa, early Monday morning
Love this title!!! this so reminds me of one of the most poignant photographs I have from this year... It is of my two grandkids... one inside of a door (1 year old) looking out to the other, outside of the door (5 years old) the baby (Naomi) is so excited to see her cousin (svetlana) the joy in her face is instant heart melting she has her hand on the glass and you can just see her wishing to reach thru the glass:( what a year my friend what a year!

Thank you for popping in to have a read.
Hope you are keeping well.
And toughened glass to boot. Beautifully expressed and such a clever and inspirational title. Hopefully, soon, we will overcome. Meantime our strength and our ultimate salvation, must surely lie in unity of purpose.

It's still a pain in the a*s to translate meters into yards for me. Americans are born with an inherent disdain for the metric system for some reason.

I'm not sure if this pandemic will go down as the peoples war, it sure won't be forgotten.
No leadership only exasperates the virus. I think in Britain the virus will only be taken serious when the streets are lined with bodies.

Yeah, if I was Boris I wouldn't turn my back on Gove.
Broken heart theme nicely expressed. Life is all about moving ahead leaving past as explained in quotes "Sooner or later we've all got to let go of our past.” So, we must keep ourself motivated to keep our life worthy and work busy to not regret after the time slices like sand out of our hand.
Window glass separated me from my mum last week. That's how we met. I sat on the patio in a chair with my phone and she sat on the other side in the resident's lounge needing help to use her mobile. We made the best of it, but no hugs or kisses and that is the killer. A sign of the times Gee. I fear I will never hug my mum again.

Gee, what to say about this sad but finely scribed post other than it comes from a more than sincere heart. Seems we mourn for each other..

I'm thinking your poem refers to the way it might be, for example, when any of the 230K+ USA deaths came about, people not able to be together at the worst of times when some consoling is most needed. I can't think of a worse separation -- those who are close to someone's demise & yet they can't touch during this time (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
