He will be forever summer,
a warm, floral scented breeze,
blue skies and single clouds,
clouds that drift slowly, silently, to a place unknown,
perhaps to where he now rests, peacefully,
with those that went before...
He will be an aching heart and tears,
a pain that only time can heal,
a chasm to be filled with memories,
memories of childhood days,
of sibling love, laughter,
of all that is good in life,
in mankind.
He will be stories and smiles,
a warm glow,
dreams,
loved,
loved,
loved...
A very poignant, yet beautiful poem which tells of the departure of a loved one to Spirit. So many beautiful memories left behind to treasure. Very effectively inked for somebody treasured both in this life and the world of Spirit, bless all. Thank you for sharing this very comforting poem, Gee. It is truly captivating...

Just found the above exchange and remember Gee and other friends' wonderful kindness. Personal emotions, for me, are not for general show.. but at that time, I needed escape from sobbing in here because I was one of a birth family who were going through hell and trying hard to keep going (not for the first time in same circumstances)
That is what can be forgotten: we don't always remember that what we are feeling/suffering is much the same for other people.. we are kost in our own despair, hurt, fear, etc. Please forgive me for happening on this exchange via a side mention but, needed to add to. Times when emotions are in fact an iceberg,, we don't always tell or be aware of the complete facts. That happens and folk cling onto what they think they know. That leads to fear, mistrust and all those negative words we juggle with. from Emma.
(He will be stories and smiles, a warm glow, dreams, loved, loved, loved...and forever missed.) How well I can relate to these words. I find this write to be very comforting and I thank you! ~Sharon

Thank you Sharon. I wrote this for EmmaJ when her brother sadly passed away.
Death affects us all in so many ways. These are words that help to ease the grief but explains the love that will remain in your heart forever. Lovely poem.
