Somebody's DaughterA Poem by GeeIsn't every woman special no matter the life choices they make.
A few came to unburden themselves
seeking nothing but an ear and dry shoulder, as they knew that here, in her rented room with cheap peeling paper, mildewed skirting and threadbare carpet secrets would be held as safe as in any confessional. Others came to act out long held fantasies, fantasies perhaps frowned upon by their wife, girlfriend, or perhaps never discussed, as these viewed as taboo by society. And then there were the lonely, the shy, those who only ever experienced laptop intimacy behind drawn curtains in badly lit bedrooms, believing porn to be reality. But all that visited had one thing in common, they gave no thought to the woman, the daughter, the person to whom they were at their most open, honest, intimate with. Because in their eyes her only worth the payment left before leaving. © 2020 GeeReviews
