A colours choir sang vibrantly

A colours choir sang vibrantly

A Poem by Gee
"

Spring...an oldie given an airing

"
Heads bowed as if in quiet prayer
the daffodils they swayed,
whilst dappled light through dancing trees
upon the lush grass played.

A bluebell sea rolled silently
to fallow fields yet sown,
o'er which in coming warmer months
a yellow quilt be thrown.

The thin veiled mists of early morn'
that washed the world with white,
cede to the over eager sun
days ever warm and bright.

A colours choir sang vibrantly
from life that bloomed anew,
to celebrate the birth of Spring
now another winter through.

Indeed and colder, wetter weather, brrrr. Thank you
very soothing poetry..and yes the 3rd stanza could be the 1st one..because you've described of morning in that which could give a nice start as the morning is the starting period...

A lovely write, Gee.

I can see that it is indeed unfinished; there is so much more you can add to this piece.

That being said, it does stand quite well on its own. Very lyrical and beautiful in its rhyme and expression.

One to certainly revisit and expand upon. Nice work.

This is such a delight to read. The simplicity of it and the extensive imagery work in unison to create something pretty epic, I thoroughly enjoyed this
