Autumnal ConfettiA Poem by GeeA seasons change.
A seasons end celebration,
Autumnal confetti abounds, covering the damp and the frosty, a warm quilt sewn over the ground. Flowers they bow to the cooling, slowly all colour is gone, whilst birds take flight for the winter, the air bereft of their song. The warmth of the sun but a memory, as it sits, low slung in the sky, "farewell, I'll miss you this winter" my heart it says with a sigh. © 2018 GeeAuthor's Note
