A Poem by Gee
"

Lizzie and Phil having trouble at the quacks

"
Prince Philip hard of hearing
and Lizzie none too well,
so off to see the doctor
her ailments for to tell.

A thorough going over
he thought he knew the cause,
Lizzie listened attentively
and then the briefest pause.

Philip whacked him on the nose
punched him on the chin,
a red mist now descended
a Greek loony from within.

"Stop it Philip, listen"
said Elizabeth Regina,
"he said one has a dicky heart
and not a cute vagina!!!!!"

A hilarious poem, Gee. I loved the play on the words. A little alphabet missed here or there can make such a terrifying difference LOL.

Oh dear what a bungle! Haha, trust those with deficient hearing to rage with the worst of blows! This was a cunning write, Gee. Very Monty Pythonesque.

Blackadder would be proud.

Great chuckle provoking piece. Not something you could have posted 50 years ago but times change. You actually give a good summary of a 94 year old reaction. Good laugh , well done. Rod.

Good morning Gee. This is a funny little poem, got my day off to a chuckling start. I am a great admirer of them both. Both very hard working with their duties and engagements. However, there is also a serious side to your poem. As we age we get complaints and even they are not exempt from the ageing process. Hope you have a lovely day and are enjoying this spell of fine weather.

Very funny indeed. Love the lack of reverence and humour captured in this bright little ditty! Will visit you in the Tower..........................................

Wicked! But all the better for it.

They're not doing that bad though are they, considering their combined age; hope they make their century.

Oh,and I bet that's not all they're not amused about at the moment.

Beccy.
