A Lesson

A Lesson

A Poem by Devons

I’ve gone and made a mistake again

Now why should I do that?

It tells me something I already know:

Curiosity killed the cat

Try chasing after elusive dreams:

Self-hope, self-forgiveness, self-promises,

I’ll tread on a mine, or a trap, I know that

I should never have left the premises!

this reminded me of a boy i used to know who'd always do the silliest things without intending to, apologizing n then doing something worse! this was a fun, light read, that truly made me smile!

This is very nice. To chase after dreams we gotta take risks and it maybe curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought him back! Or curiosity killed the cat, but it also helped make him a leader! There's more than one lesson here.
