Choices...A Poem by Gbannersaucefree-verse to express somethings.... If It doesn't work or sit well with you then apologies but this is just how I feel in words.
The leaves fall from the tall oak,
Gravity pushes its weight onto them, They don't fall sideways or up, They're choice in where to fall is easy, Leaves are lucky, Their simple in their life, They grow and die and repeat, Humans aren't as lucky as leaves. Humans have choices, Paths that they choose to take, They decide for themselves which way they fall, And sometimes these choices condescend, You can't commit 100 percent to everything in your life, You can definitely try, But you'll never be fully committed, You'd only be fooling yourself until you quit, Leaves are lucky, Yes, very, very lucky, And humans, which some would call a gift to be born as one, I would view it as more of a curse. A curse of too many choices...
