Blowin' in the Wind (a wind blown away)

Blowin' in the Wind (a wind blown away)

life flies in the breeze
letters of love
find themselves muddled
elov
oevl
voel
hoping to land
seeking peace

angels fight devils
devils fight back

war floods in like rain
hurricanes of torture
frighten us all

in a sky of reply
clouds of doubt float by
decisions incomplete
hidden by money
leave sad reflections

thinking back to Bob
singing his song -
answers are here

'blowin' in the wind'

now blown past
in a whirlwind of time

leaving a jangly melody
memories of hope,
freedom, peace
where a breath of air
could once have saved us
now we are too late

judgement day beckons......

This was really awesome, man. It truly reminded me of my past poem, 'Two Ghosts of the Mind.' Battling the thoughts of evil and angelic; going in and out of things, and trying to be stable in the rest of the process; hoping one day it will all just go away, and that you have finally won the huge war. Everything intertwines and comes together in this piece. Beautiful job, i must say, as well as the picture, too!

A very interesting piece, so many meanings could be found, I look and see how sometimes we let our anger peak for us and sometimes we do or say things that push our love so far away that we can never get it back.

this is very sensitive writing. I like poetry about nature, wind and the elements. I enjoyed the structure, soo airy.... I liked this: "'blowin' in the wind'

now blown past
in a whirlwind of time" -------for yes it is a more or less vertical column of air whirling around itself, the history, the destiny of humans always and always, mixing all together... as it moves over the surface of the earth.... nicely done. perhaps you can read me, too? be well.

I LIKE THIS! IS IT YOURS OR SOMEONE ELSE'S? MY ONLY SUGGESTION IF IT IS YOURS, IS TO PERHAPS CONSIDER LEFT-ALIGNING THE TEXT. BELOW I HAVE CUT AND PASTED IT SO YOU COULD SEE QUICKLY HOW IT LOOKS THIS WAY... (THE PHOTO IS BEAUTIFUL TOO BY THE WAY!) --ADAM

Judgement day is calling. But I do not believe it is too late, there is still a chance to repent and be a better person.
good luck with your writing

This was lovely. The images are interesting and unique and the poem is fresh yet also a bittersweet. I especially enjoyed the love stanza... Good work.

Better. New and improved. I really love Bobby but for his talent rather than his star status, I like Arlo Guthrie and John Prine much the same way and lately, Arlos youngest daughter Sarah and her husband, great music. I like this a great deal, good luck in the contest.

A deeply philosophical poem I enjoyed very much.
The facts you present about life, are simple yet effective.
Nice picture selection :) .
