Little things in everyday life, which we wish, but seldom ask...

Lend me your time

just some more of it,

to enjoy little moments.

Yes...Silly moments.

Yet,when cherished

eternally warms the heart.

Once in a while, 

lend me your hand

with that warm smile.

Lend me your ears

to my raves and rants,

when I am in despair.

Lend me a ride,

during that time

when my hormones

are on a roller coaster tide.

Lend me a hug,

without being asked.

Let your love not be masked.

Lend me your light,

to know there is a way,

when things are in dismay.

Even if life is askew,

I could enjoy the blues.

If and if only, you could

lend me a little of you

Just a little more of you.

Like this, and it is true, you can give someone all sorts of gifts, but in reality the greatest gift is giving yourself. We all need a pick me up now and again, just a voice to say how are you, I'm thinking of you.
