Conversation I Needed So Badly

Conversation I Needed So Badly

A Poem by Gavin Brown
"

just a little something i wrote the other morning.

"

There was some tall grass,

And a blanket.

A rock that looked like Prince,

“let’s take it.”

You asked me my star sign

"I don’t know mine."

We both had mixed matched socks

And shared a tan line.

You flirt like a puzzle,

I’m more subtle.

Our thoughts dripped the air

And into a puddle.

We talked about family,

What we had scene.

Explanations, experimentations

And some bad dreams

It’s conversation I needed so badly.
