life is a race and we keep on running from one place to another sometimes with a purpose and sometimes without it. Destination of everybody is eventually death.
I am a lifelong runner myself. With others and alone. Mainly over mountains but through forests and along coasts. It can be healing or meditative or just fun. Your take is full of images which I have to be honest i don't always get but you've caught the spirit of running well.
Cheers.

This is by far the most original thing ever written about runners. Your writing is so unexpected, it took me a minute to understand everything. I love the way you describe aspects of running that I had forgotten all about -- going to sleep already energized by the thought of getting up early to run. You say all that in shorthand, so brief, but your writing conjures up the fullness of each experience (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I wrote this when i, one day was in a mental turmoil - on a daily basis, i saw people running to catch a metro, catch a seat inside a metro, to get a job, to catch a thought to win against someone, to always run to get their first - when we all know that there is no first rank...its all a journey..despite this people are running..India is crowded...we are running so fast that people are coming under feet and no one gives a damn

I can totally see how your poem speaks to people who are running for exercise or those who are running as a way of life to survive. I could not find my true center when I was young & always busy. Stillness can be therapy!

Yes. That's the intention - to get that stillness in life, in actions and thoughts :)
Fist to walkers indeed! This could be an anthem of sorts to the recreational runner as well, not just the pace of how our lives run. Really cool write!
Woah! This certainly resonates with the idea of my piece "Who am I?".
Indeed that's all we do. We run our whole lives and also make others to follow the suit.
A beautifully penned, thought provoking poem.

So all the best for this exciting journey commencing from the simple question you asked - 'who am I?'
Wow. Your poem makes the readers realize that life should not be taken for granted. At least that's what it did to me. Thank you for this. Keep writing!
