Life and Beyond

when i realized that i was given a second life and dishonored it as my first, the lord of death came in person

In callousness of water

were washed my thoughts,

every origin was killed

and the line of finish

commenced my origin...

She led the way to hell 

when mountains and night

witnessed my burial,

then i was bathed in a fire

to kill sins abound...

Yes i walked again here

with truth kissing my arrival,

happiness remained inferior

when bliss hugged my soul...

My address they knew

they - enemy of good,

and today they occupy my home..my soul 

How unfortunate is it to confess

they forced me to pursue them

how unfortunate

that i walked to life and beyond

and returned 

only to see death of innocence around...

This is a strange one for me because I suppose it could be said I wasn't blessed with a spiritual side, however the language and metaphors were put across so well, I could understand your thoughts and ideas on the spiritual level which only goes to commend the craft and skill used in writing this poem, so very very well done

A view of life that is deep sees much innocence in the world of ours. But why innocence alone ... in relation to the viewer's deep knowledge of mankind? That might take a second walk to life and beyond. We do learn in stages.

The first paragraph was very powerful. Overall, I think it's a pretty impressive poem. Do you believe that our souls carry on after the human body stops functioning? Do are souls stay the same or do they completely change as they enter a new, fresh body? Let me know what you think :)

I don't know. I mean, there are intricacies in the subject. I say what spiritual gurus have been saying for ages that soul does carry on. But, how it is done and what is the process, who knows? Soul, as they say, carry impressions or habits from previous births as well. And, the whole purpose is to get rid of all impressions and then mingle with the supreme. That is what is there in great books. I have to experience it to tell you the truth. But, as they say, i will not live to tell the truth as well, as i will be enjoying the fruit of singularity.
Anyways, thank you for your words. I hope, i kept the discussion going.
