Adobe of HappinessA Poem by GauravDon't talk of Sea while remaining inside the 'Well'I suspected I had lived there There, the adobe of happiness Where stars came and played in the garden A bliss of infinite A gaze of almighty An escape of death Nothing short of perfection bestowed upon me I think I had lived there A moment came When I looked outside When a perception of independence In the form of bondage Dreamt on my soul I cursed stars, I built my image The image I referred ‘God’ I cursed love, I built my definition The words I referred ‘Hatred’ I cursed universe, I built my world The world I referred ‘earth’ I cursed sea, I went far Choose a well to stay alive Now, I see sky With wonder with two of my eyes I already had cursed my infinite When I was a sky I suspected I hadn’t lived there © 2015 GauravReviews
