Smoke Stack Plumes

Smoke Stack Plumes

A Poem by Gatlianne

The plants spewing their pollution

Into the already polluted clouds

Smoke stack plumes of exhaust

Beautiful against the night sky

Surrounded by twinkling

Work lights

You can’t see the stars from

The haze

But the lights reflecting in the

Spill-off waters really are a sight
