Blank Canvas

Blank Canvas

A Poem by Gatlianne

BLANK CANVAS

Flat, white

Unpainted scenes

Calling - hovering

Waiting to be created

Sit it out-

-ignore it

let it watch you

feel it's stare

hear it begging for attention

ignore it until your mind and heart

tell you it's time

put it out to look at you until you're

sick of seeing it while

so you have to color it in

to ease it's voice in your mind

My blank canvas isn't meant for paint. But I love the idea of this. Sharp and profound. The essence of this sings.
