What's Greater

time
vital as it is
is
no longer spent on
daydreaming but
living-
living realities
dream-like in
form
at times
but life -
life like this is
well spent on
appreciative ones who know
what they've got
and haven't a need to ask
for more in
return
the selfish leap ahead,
bounds,
and the selfless checking dates
on pennies
determing a higher value
than what it says
spinning as the earth
does
and does not stop
we drift with or push
against
the current but either way
we move
in a constant
unchangabe
intangible
way
and we've nothing to do-
but flow
