Running

Running

A Poem by Gastroc.
"

ending may change

"

she's dancing with fingertips
across the winded skin
of her lips
she tips her hat
he gave her
and wide eyed,
glows
shadows she knows
and plays them in her
favor
but palms upon ribs
send signals
and alarms the heart
below
bruised and battered
they,
together,
know better
familiar territory
leaves her
as the chaser
chases
her-
as the prey
finds its way
away
from there

Well I got a guy forcing himself on a girl. This may not have been the intent, but this is what came to my mind. She thinks its fine, everything is in her favor until she realizes he's stronger, she isn't in control and all she can to is run. Maybe not even physically run, but mentally flee from the idea of her reality.
