inspired by a fellow friend & twc writer's comment on another poem of mine

good and
evil
finally come to
terms
an agreement;
verbal
nothing put on
paper
because although
set in stone
is susceptible
to crumbling
finding a balance
between
extremes
is harder than
it seems
and i would know
for i've made
a career of
seeking the
mean
or is it
median
this time around?
either way
i'm trying
God knows i'm
trying
mending rough edges
and
duct taping splintering
seams
eventually,
eventually they'll be
sewed
and seamless they will
seem

i like the word play at the end, its a little bit like alliteration and sounds byooteeful
