Forsaken wordA Poem by GasparIt stood with nothing but a sound Just a whisper that circled around It was only then It could have ever existed For all that herd It would be enlisted Falling down as an apple from a tree They felt one another's misery Children screaming, avoiding Its embrace Yet to everyone else, It had a bitter taste It holds the truth, It takes a life It makes us tremble from a thought of light Whatever others spoke, what they claimed to know You face a doubt which consumes your soul.
