Misfortune

Misfortune

A Poem by Pure life

Misfortune:

This is what happens to me everyday,

i get blamed for your mistakes.

You bring me down and then laugh at me,

you point your finger at me with an evil grin.

I take the punishment,

it hurts like the devil is clawing me in the back.

I stand back up,

but i know ill get pushed back down.

As you leave it all up to me to get blamed,

i think to myself.

That i am the better person,

you just runaway from you fears.

So the next time you push me around,

i will stand up.

I will come at you with all of my force,

and ill be on my way once you learn to stand on your own two feet.

Not all writing is structure, and rhythm. Sometimes we must break from these things to express raw emotion. You do a very good job here, expressing the emotions you feel. You have really connected to your audience, I myself am feeling a little 'rage against the machine' after reading this.
