my 2nd poem

A life long lost

Deep in the darkness

The remnants lived with shattered dreams

She tried to piece them all together

But they always fell back into the void

These shattered pieces cut me down

And reduced me to nothing

As the pieces cut and shred me

They tore my life limb from limb

Now I live on in her heart

Never again to be hurt
