A Little Raindrop

A Little Raindrop

A Poem by George David Hope

                                                                          A LITTLE RAINDROP
There was a little raindrop
Falling through the sky
Dropping so far and so fast
He thought that he would die
But other raindrops caught him
In a puddle on the ground
Cushioned him like a pillow
Kept him safe and sound
He joined in with the others
Other raindrops their falls he did break
Pretty soon that little puddle
Had became a lake

And probably very lovely to look at. I am a fan of both rain drops and lakes. A delightful write and visual with it George. Nicely penned.
