Something I started as a joke but daughter finished

Don't want to be me anymore

Need to self harm a little more

Author's Note

I came up with the first 4 lines as a silly song to annoy my daughter but she's doing Mental Health at school so she asked if she could add some verses and came up with the rest.

I like how you have both approached this subject. Your lines start off in a fairly light hearted way but graduate to something far more heart breaking. Great that Dad and daughter worked together on this. Young people have a rough time nowadays.

Thanks Chris for your kind words....the first 4 lines we're really about doing the same old job everyday and how it was a chore...I told my daughter I was writing a song for a joke and read it to her...she then decided to add the rest herself as like I said doing Mental Health at school for her Art GCSE
