IF LIFE WAS A BOOK
What if everyone wrote a book From our birth until we die Some parts filled with laughter Other parts to make you cry They'd all be a best seller Filled with love, betrayal and tears Our greatest accomplishments And very darkest fears Each book would be so different No page would be the same Some would be so serious Others saying life's a game Filled with first and lost loves Friendships that last forever Each book intertwined Some wrote together Some books filled with loneliness Others very short Maybe some wrote by candlelight Telling a lesson that must be taught Would some books have pictures I guess that's not up to me It depends on who writes it And lets others see So fill your book up to the brim Make every page a real delight Because we all put our pens down When we're heading for the light
