Some Left Home As Boys

Some Left Home As Boys

A Poem by George David Hope
"

Another little ditty about The Great War

"
                                                              SOME LEFT HOME AS BOYS
Some left home as boys
Then came back as men
Some left home as boys
But never came home again
Some left home as boys
To answer their countries call
Some left home as boys
Hero's one and all

Gee
Couldn’t imagine the horrors of that war, so many killed.
Have written one on this subject, “ When death is closer than home..”
this a rhyming effort you might enjoy.
