Catch Me?

Catch Me?

A Poem by K
"

This one is pretty old. I just found it, and I actually really like it in all its simplicity. Maybe I'll add more. We'll see.

"
You left me stranded here,
Pushed out on a limb so fragile.

I'll tiptoe here,
Making sure no dew should drop from delicate pink flowers.
Hoping you'll return before the fall.

If you add more it has to be fantastic like these lines. I enjoyed this poem. I read it earlier but couldn't comment on it until now. I wanted to have you as a friend because I know I am going to travel through your shared thoughts and be inspired. This piece inspired me. Thanks for sharing.

For such a short poem, you hit on a lot of really nice images. It's longing and sweet, and I can sense just a little fear in the lines, but there's hope there too. What a terrific message!

That was real short, yet it means a lot of things, and it's well read

So, if you ever add some more, let me know, otherwise it's all good here...

It is almost haiku-like in the brevity, the imagery, and the transfer between lines. I really like it.
