Seeing Is BelievingA Poem by KThis is another older poem that I'd like to revise at some point.
My stage is a mirrored floor,
And I playfully dance with my reflection. But with deeper observation, it gives way. I reach out to grasp the falling shards of myself, Only to find that my hands come back with wounds that quickly turn to scars. Fractured pieces of the past fit together all too perfectly. I saw in them, who you were, But now I raise my palms up and see who you are. © 2008 KReviews
