An Object of FaithA Poem by KOnce again, this is a revised work that was submitted earlier. They all got deleted anyway, and the review restore thing isn't working for me.
An object of faith.
You placed it in my Eager, Cupped hands, And disappeared Before I could open my eyes. But I held that stone Between my palms in prayer, Firm and still, With a naivet that fueled my longing. Unsure of my feelings, But so sure of you. Now I take a peek, But find the cradle empty. What had once seemed so tangible, Was only an image. When I wasnt looking, You took it back And gave it to somebody else. © 2008 KReviews
