Cupid's Folly

Cupid's Folly

A Poem by GamingGal

I watch Cupid’s arrows fall

Delivering their invite to love

An irresistible siren call

The arrows strike true

And my friends become starry-eyed

As they find their true love

Experiencing a love-struck high

They cuddle and kiss

In celebration of their discovery

Not seeming to notice

My hidden agony

At being left high and dry

Even though it’s raining love

Having not been graced

By the powers above

I think we all can understand this in some way, shape, or form. I agree with Sydney, it is written in a unique way, but at the same time, it's something we all can understand. I'm glad I read this one

This is pretty, I like how you wrote it. You're rhyme scheme is very odd to me and I love it. (: I'm used too AABBCCDD.. or ABAB.. this is very different and it draws me into your writing (:
