GoneA Poem by Douglas Levi Gribbins
I see my life go by, I want it to be gone
I see my future, I just want it to be gone Maybe then I could walk around and not have to be attacked Maybe then he could be satisfied knowing I'm gone and not coming back I see my memories, I just want them to be smashed I hear my sweethearts voice, I want her to be dead Perhaps then I could lead my own life, knowing there's nothing else he can take If I try hard enough, maybe I can kill his latest mistake. I see my mind inside my head and I want it to be gone I see my life force and I want it to be gone As I claw my head I dread the more there is to come Perhaps soon I'll learn how to make all of me completely gone.
