Talking With Myself

Talking With Myself

A Poem by Douglas Levi Gribbins
"

The ending i plan to put on one of my projects.

"
Feels like i'm being passed around and harassed by fifteen masked assassins
Feels like these monsters blastin' in my head, made me so off the road that i'm crashin'
These noises
These voices
I know i have no choice but-
I've been wondering what It's been saying and I've been wondering just want it wants.
"Are you prepared to meet every demon and monster you've ever created at once?
It's an army from your hands but it's out of your command
It's a chopper that doesn't land, it just crashes, with you in it
According to you, you know you could die any day.
So how does god know you wasn't gonna jump anyway?"
Don't act like I was the only one to say it
There was a clear shot I had, but i knew not to take it
I could've seen my brother, but I had to think of my mother
My girl who loves me to death, There's more, not enough room in this song
-To be coninued
