What it feels like to be alone.A Story by Douglas Levi Gribbins....Spending most of your day in a dark room, but not wanting the light on, begging for any glimpse of light to be terminated immediately. Barely speaking to anyone but yourself, and your mind. You can't take advice from anyone because there is no "anyone" you have nobody, everyone you had has already left you from the devil's whisper. The darkness coats the room, including you, you're sitting down, in solitude, imagining what people would do If they found out you had passed, in your head they don't care, they just move on with their lives and say nothing of it, as if you were a bug on the carpet. Your hand covers your face to stop the flow of tears that you can't find reason for. "Why am I crying?" you ask yourself, because you are the only person you can trust in this cruel world. You get no answer, but...you don't expect one, either. You feel an eternal pain that is unlike normal pain, it hurts, but it feels a lot different. Wanting it to end, you remember you have a pistol under your bed that you hid under there a long time ago, for emergencies.. When you pick up the pistol, aim it at your skull, where the pain is.. and you wake up, just as you are pulling the trigger, begging for the dream to be true, most people would tell you to go to somebody for help. But you have nobody, Your family doesn't care about you, you have no friends because you switch schools every year and are socially awkward. You try too hard to fit in, and everyone you have ever had, has abandoned you like you are some kind of f*cking toy! You think it's time to call it quits and stop trying, you don't wanna die, but you don't wanna live. This is what it feels like to be alone.
