My DarlingA Poem by Douglas Levi GribbinsI'm a victim of abuse, so this is how i vent.
One time you were telling me.
That I was your biggest fantasy Now you look me in the eyes And beg that this is all a dream. Darling, do you like these voices That echo throughout these halls My dear, do you hear these noises I think they are coming from the walls.. I'm tortured, a puppet and I love it. But there's something that I covet. I want the sound of piano keys Playing around me, drowning me. Crowding in me is the sound of the Monsters crawling where i'm bound to sleep Whispering wisps while monsters growl from out of me. Shouting is the demons, hell hounds that speak (Chorus) My Darling! Do you hear these voices like I do? My Darling! Do you see what I have grown to see You're my darling! But please don't ever think to leave But you're my darling...my darling... (Chorus end)
