No SurrenderA Poem by Douglas Levi GribbinsI chat with my demons.I wouldn't pay to be famous, everyone trying to match it. I ain't got a shovel, I can't bury the hatchet." But somehow My hole keeps getting deeper All these demons controlling me, like zoo-keepers i'd try to walk with them, talk with them, No "Woe is me" "But who is the Guy who wrote like he told he could control it? You're too weak for me, you and me both know it!"" I can't believe my past led to you to control me "But now That part passed, You're happy, you owe me" Show me a document, where i had signed up for this! "Look at this, in your blood, See that black line? it's over it. But it wasn't my fault that you made the choices that you made." Was it my vulnerability, or my misery that made you stay? My shoulders feel like my world is ending. And if you can't let go, then i'll take you with me. Blowing your mind aswell as mine, both literally All this pain your giving me is hell, but i live it willingly. Rather me than someone else, If i can live through what i felt For now it's all over, I've lit the fuse But if this kills me, it kills you too. No surrender...
