Suicide Symphony

Suicide Symphony

A Poem by Douglas Levi Gribbins
"

A dark poem i wrote

"
Tears fall, blood sheds,
Both sides, both dead.
Eyes consumed in shadows.
Heart gone, from a black rose.

A garden of fed souls
Dead friends, Dead foes.
A kiss from Satan won't shake me.
But When i'm loved, wake me

Bloody mirrors, Death stares
Consume the light, in dark glares
Backwards suicide symphony's
Will forever stay inside, killing me

"Backwards suicide symphony's. Will forever stay inside, killing me."

Those two lines. Amazing.

"Dead friends. Dead foes."

I interpret that as that you are dead. And not them.

I really like this, I got lost with the last stanza though, which unfortunately, means I am not getting the full message. The sharp word pairings are pretty cool !!! :)
