It Came From the SkyA Poem by Douglas Levi GribbinsThis little horrific story is based on a real life event.
Who is that, That comes from the sky?
Soak the dark with your blinding light. And so tonight, if i beg and plead Will you cut my chains, and rescue me? Oh odd creature, who came from the skies. Will you save me, but from my own demise? I'm bound to your sight, you are my beacon. I lay awake, awaiting your teeth to sink in. Inside i'm screaming, i'm hearing noises. Outside i am singing, you are my poison. Hands reach for you, My arms are shaking My Suicide Symphony, Death in the making. I'm standing up, my eyes are bleeding. I smash the glass, my brain is sleeping. As i collapse, you are coming nearer. All this time, you were but a mirror...
