Fear strikes a chord
Dull and resonating
Running through my being
Penetrating my skeleton
And burrowing into my marrow
Collecting in the pit of my stomach
Keeping me moving
Not willing to stop
Never giving up
Don't judge me by this piece- it's pretty terrible. I wrote it during my third hour German class on the last day of school without having slept the night before.

Never make excuses for a published poem.......it comes from within you, even from the marrow of your being........the poem is not bad, as it shows something of the writer.....words in any form are seldom wasted......:O)
I don't think it's terrible at all, quite the opposite, as misery loves company , I love this poem, lol..excellent actually, but I guess it depends on the reader as to what this motivates in them.
Just a little comment here: are you talking about running away from danger? If so, I don't understand why you entitled the poem the march, but maybe you just want to emphasize the fact that you keep keep moving because of the fear. BUT YOU USED NICE IMAGERY!!! I enjoyed this poem very much!
