Eating DecayA Poem by GalaxyGhostEating away time Rusting, falling apart, rot Stinging smell, putrid Smokey, coughing loud Raw, decomposing freshness Gag, lost, soft ground touch Crackling burn cackles Moss-blanket wood gnaws at stone Into crystal sand No more! No more time! Clock ticks, echoes, no one there. Empty. Time decays. TV static, fuzz Empty rooms, silent hallways Just then, no sound. Shh!
