Nothing

Nothing

A Poem by GalaxyGhost

Without love, a world burns
Not a smile, a heart yearns
What are we making of a world succumbing to the end?
Let demons make their trespasses,
Trampling saints, leaving children on their own to fend.
Watch a world die on its own, devils form their masses.

What are we to do with this world now that it's gone?
Shall we romance it in our own songs?
Mock the gods and silence the good in the world,
They no longer have use to our benefit.
Love, I mock you with insults hurled.
I see no sun, nor moon or stars--they've all quite.

Nothing is left and is there afterwards?
Nothing all was easy, all became hard
To bear in this place we leave behind
For the next to fix and make worlds different
As we play gods and lives we bind
Into our own disappearing ethics gone sent.
There is nothing.

Greed of man is really destroying the world we live in. What hope can we offer the next generation?
This is a very beautiful poem in which you have expressed yourself in a very fine way.
