Stars

A Poem by GalaxyGhost

He put a little stardust in his lies
I loved him anyways
Though blind to reason for a gentleman
A man with eyes so true
Yet a heart that remained false

Whether he had his eyes of gentle brown
Or lustful blue upon a night-sky
He never knew how much he meant to me
Born to never once meet,
But forever loved
Not even there, yet he stole that heart
Not just once, thousands

Everything I did for him
Often went past
When will I see him?
He will never once see
A star, but still a man
Every woe of a lady yearns
How oft' and how those memories were left behind
Just a part of him in a part of me

I appreciate it!
This is tragic and beautiful in many ways. Very nicely done, I love it

You're welcome
So sadly beautiful. The wish and longing is evident.
I would suggest the stylized language of the last three lines feels slightly out of place. I would recommend either modernizing them or integrating more through out.
