Static Wake

Static Wake

A Poem by Joshua Espinosa

Wild static drove
   My sleeping senses.
Monday blues blew
   A different tune.

You who stands
   Like silent wild grass
Suddenly stir
   My lonely heart.

Did you know what
   You did was felony?
Committed I am
   Yet confounded again.

Interesting & intriguing . . . we strongly feel the tangled thoughts of this narrator . . . some of the most sparkling & original ways to express how it feels when one has been dissed or dumped (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thank you, Margie. Sending back virtual hugs ((-.-))
Anyone who can take the Monday blues away gets my vote, and if this continues for the rest of the week even better.

Same here.
I love it, it is amazing, short but easily understood and it conveys a lot of information.
