EclipseA Poem by GailAlexanderOnce again I personify the moon during an eclipse as having a benign side and a sinister side.
Let us watch the moon hide herself away behind a black velvet veil of shadow. Outlined by a pearly luminescent light, she is the queen of reflected glory, and malicious trickery. She is the queen of surrender and serenity, and unguarded secrets. She is the giver of secret friends, and secret enemies. Yes, worship her, but take care!
