Then

Then

A Poem by Gaia Octavia

The stars all hold their tongue
when you ask me your question,
yet over all my desperate pleas,
I vomit my confession

But in this moment now,
my silence speaks for me
as downy snow drifts down-
quiet as a refugee

this is really good, the rhythm was nice, if it were me I might replace the word vomit with something else, it works but I feel like it takes away from the rest of the poem a little bit
