In My Own

In My Own

A Poem by Gaia Octavia

There is a place I go

that only I know

where the world is far away,

where the teary eye of the moon-lit sky

drops its soothing rain

here I lay,

floating,

in a dry sea of blue-bells

where insects never tread,

I can close my eyes and

heed the whispers of the willow,

bending as it threads

its lengths of leaves

into an umbrella above me

Here is my peace,

Here is my sacred place,

All I need to do

                            Is close my eyes

                                                                And I am there.

P.S. I know it's probably not, but I hope your name has to do with Twitch the dancer from SYTYCD ;-)
This was so calming, that's the only word I can really come up with.

Thank you ☺ It's where I go to feel exactly that.
