A Poem by Gaia Octavia

Just a sliver of light
to break up the gloom,
these shadows the blight
of life's dressing room
a personal purgatory
with no chance of escape
you, the captured quarry
and the fruitless mistake
forced to face a gilded mirror
the only view there'll ever be
until you learn to revere her
and set your spirit free
you must remember, it's always your choice
when to step into life and use your own voice

I really liked the flow between Mirror and Revere her. As someone who ryhmes alot I really appreciate something like that. You used the combination well and it flows perfectly on one's tongue.

The poem on itself is quite short, but it says alot.
I see a pretty hopeful messege in it, but that might just be me.
Pretty much ''I know you're going through s**t. But that doesn't mean you should submit to the toilet.''

Thank you for the poem!
