You have portrayed that feeling of not being in control brilliantly... and there is a hint of the past determining the future but to what extent. Really great piece.
A very melodic poem, maintaining the flow of tone well through the constant three-four syllable verses. Personally, I would view this more as a song than a poem.
I feel as there can be more to it, to explain why the crimson leak and why you would choose to use a red title within depressing words. Maybe it has something to do with fire?
I enjoyed the reading of this poem (or singing) keep up your tune :)

I like to leave things open to interpretation, but my inspiration for the title, color, and "looking.. read moreI like to leave things open to interpretation, but my inspiration for the title, color, and "looking far to see the past" came from one of the furthest (so far) pictures the Hubble took this past week (the picture is the poem's icon). And how (due to how light travels) the further you look out into space, the further back in time you are seeing but that you can't see the future no matter how hard you try. Thanks for your input and encouragement! ☺
