That quiet calm
between each draw of breath
where I long to reside

That sliver of a moment
between each thought
where peace exists in its purest form

That fleeting silence
between each spoken word
where boundless possibilities lie

And that transient lull
between the turn of each page
I vanquish with the stroke of my pen
