A Poem by Gaia Octavia

Suppose I say
goodbye to you
and treat you
as I'm loath to do?

Suppose I leave
you high and dry
and with no
explanation why?

Suppose we go
our separate ways
each in search
of brighter days?

Suppose I don't
and, instead,
I lay with you
and hold your head?

Suppose I settle
for status quo
and stay to watch
just as you go?
